The location was easy to find, and the garden view was a nice touch. I appreciated the thoughtful touches in the fridge. I was glad that the host was helpful when I arrived to guide me. My experience was pleasant overall.
Access was not available until 17:00, and I was unable to have a take away in the hotel due to the smell it would leave.

The venue was nicely presented, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the location was good really close to the Bristol Airport, the city centre and a nice area. It was perfect 10/10 stay, I didn't feel like leaving and will be back.

The little touches like milk and orange juice in the fridge added a nice personal feel. The rooms are cozy.
There's no pavement or street lighting, especially with traffic. The bathroom wasn't ensuite as advertised, inconvenient. A taxi charged at 16 GBP for a less than mile journey felt excessive, especially when expecting a free shuttle.

Reasonably clean hotel, loved to be not far from scrupulously clean, and the city centre thanks to good location. The employees at the venue were affable. I've booked a twin room with great beds and everything was very good.

Arriving at cleeves cottage was an absolute nightmare, wating outside for half an hour. It would've been great to get an early check-in, since my mother was with me. And how lovely it would've been if someone had mentioned that our bare room was across the hallway and not ensuite. Just couldn't recommend this place!

Had a comfortable stay with all we needed for one night, but the pillows were quite uncomfortable. Clean wet room and handy with parking while away!

exploring parks and landmarks just a stroll away
staying here was fantastic as it was only around 3.5 km from the beautiful Backwell Lake where I enjoyed a peaceful walk, and also just about 6.5 km from the historical Church of St Mary, a great spot for sightseeing and soaking in local culture.

great location but minor downsides
The location was easy to find, just off the main A38. Comfy beds provided a good night's sleep, and the wet room was impressively clean and spacious. I appreciated the thoughtful croissants, milk, and orange juice left in the fridge were great. The garden view added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
The pillows could use some improvement.
